I had a very disappointing experience with Excellence Mobile Mechanics in Huntsville, Alabama. I initially trusted the mechanic based on the personal story he shared, but unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. My daughter, who is a college student, was alone when he serviced her vehicle while I communicated with him over the phone. He significantly overcharged us for the work performed, and the most concerning part is that the car was not even properly fixed. After we realized the issue was still unresolved, I attempted to contact him multiple times, but he stopped answering calls and has not responded since. This lack of accountability and professionalism is unacceptable. I strongly advise others to be cautious and consider other options when seeking automotive repair services. Added @3:39pm This lets us further know that you weren't honest. This issue you're speaking of evidently was someone else's car, because it definitely wasn't the issue with her car.

I called Chris this morning about an issue I am having on my motorcycle front brake master cylinder housing. I need to bleed my brakes but the screws on the housing cover are stripped bolt and I’ve been struggling to back them out. I asked him if he could come out and take a look, he said of course he could but then proceeded to walk me through exactly what to do and what tool to buy. He sent me a screenshot of the specific tool I need and he also explained how I could do it myself and save a few bucks since it is a smaller job (most mechanic shops would want to come look in person so they can get that $$$$). He was very helpful and professional. I highly recommend to anybody looking for an honest and decent mechanic.

It seems there's more than one mechanic who responds to service calls with this business so this review is regarding the guy who came to my call. He didn't tell me his name but I can say one way to identify who I'm talking about is this mechanic arrived to my location driving a white Dodge Avenger that looked like it was just driven out of a salvage yard after being parked for 10 years. He has no teeth and does not appear to take pride in any part of his appearance or professionalism. I'll begin on a positive note by stating he responded rather quickly after I texted my location for service. He did repair what I obviously knew needed to be done to get my vehicle drivable again. And that's about all of the good that came from this service call. What caused me to write this bad review is that after he service was complete, I called around to compare prices of the serpentine belt I needed to replace because I had an eerie feeling I had been scammed and when I called the parts department at the dealership and a couple of the parts stores like O'Reilly's and Advanced Auto they all have a similar price range of about $30-$33 for the belt and this clown charged me $109. My car wouldn’t start for work this morning and I didn’t know what to do. It wasn’t a dead battery or anything, it was something the average person couldn’t diagnose. My wife looked up mobile mechanics and found Chris and sent it to me. I called him and he was with a client but immediately sent me a text saying he would call me back and did promptly. He was at my house within the hour on short notice. Realized it was the fuel pump less than 10 minutes upon arrival. He called the supply house and checked pricing. He went and picked up the part because I had no way to get it myself and came back and installed it like he does it 100 times a day. Tested everything and made sure it would start up and that there were no other issues. He also pointed out to me that I needed to get some new tires and took the time to show me how to read the manufactures date. He went out of his way to teach me what he could while he was here. His pricing was less than half of what someone else would have charged. Not only is he a great mechanic he is a genuinely good man and cares about your situation and understands the impact something like this has on someone. I can tell he enjoys doing his job not on

We are so grateful for Chris at Excellence Mobile repair. We needed a wheel bearing replaced on our travel trailer when we were headed home from a camping trip. Chris was thorough and knowledgeable. He was able to get the necessary parts for us and get to us within an hour. He quickly got the bearing changed and we were back on the road. The cost was reasonable as well. Highly recommend.
